The Humane Society of Tampa Bay

“I just want to say ‘kudos’ to the Humane Society of Tampa bay – last night I saw an ad on Craigslist for 7 free puppies. I cringed.. I wanted to call the guy and go get all of them.. but of course then what? So I went to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s website and got the email link to all of the head people out there and started emailing them about it… I emailed about 5 people that I thought might be able to help.. let me say that 3 of the 5 people emailed me right back and told me they would reach out to the owners. That was all last night around 8 or 9 pm. That is impressive.. those are some dedicated people there folks. Who love animals and have sworn to protect them. I felt much better knowing they were in charge. BTW – you should NEVER put an ad for any FREE animals especially cats and dogs.. they are used as bait dogs more often then not to train fighting dogs in illegal dog fights. You can imagine what happens to both the bait dogs and the fighting dogs.. it’s heartbreaking.. so THANK YOU HUMANE SOCIETY of TAMPA BAY for letting me rest last night.”
