Steering Committees

In addition to the Board of Directors, there are several committees which help steer the direction of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

  • The Program Committee helps form the policies and procedures for shelter operations and the Spay/Neuter Clinic(Quarterly)

  • The Development Committee assists with special events, grants, and the cultivation of our donor base. There are three subcommittees for each of our major special events:  Bark in the Park, Tuxes and Tails & Passion for Pets (Quarterly).

  • The Planned Giving Council assists with major gifts, planned giving & creating an endowment for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
