We understand that circumstances can arise where saying goodbye to your best friend is the only option left.  We at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay would like to help as many people and pets as we can by providing a safe place for the surrendered dog or cat until a new forever family adopts him/her.  Unfortunately we are unable to take EVERY pet that is surrendered to us.  Available space, animal temperament, health and age are just a few things that must be considered prior to accepting a new pet into our shelter.
