She warmed up to us even on the first day we brought her home, though she was shy (hid under furniture) and didn’t want to eat her dry food. After her second day in our home, she was playing with toys and following around her big brother, our 9-year old Westie. Within a week, her appetite was back and within 2 weeks she could be left out of the crate all day.
She really seems to be a happy, adjusted puppy and behaves herself quite well. Harley loves to run around in our back yard every day looking for squirrels, and she gets really excited to see her leash before a neighborhood walk. She also loves following us around in the kitchen to see what’s cooking and jumps into bed with us to cuddle at night.
We couldn’t be happier to have her as part of the family, and we have been so surprised how quickly she adapted to her new parents and new home!
