How old does my pet need to be to get free shots?
Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old to receive their distemper shot and at least 3 months old to receive a rabies vaccine. Cats must be in a carrier. Dogs must be on a leash.


What time is the event?
A line usually starts forming around 8am, with the actual event starting at 9am. Vaccines will be given to the first 1,000 pets, or until 1pm.


How many pets can I bring?
There is a limit of 4 pets per household.



I don’t live in Hillsborough County. Can I still come?
The event is only open to residents of Hillsborough County.



How do I get a free pet license?
While anyone in Hillsborough County is eligible for free vaccines, free licenses will be available only to residents of zip codes 33598, 33547, 33579, and 33578. A valid ID will be required.
