The Humane Society of Tampa Bay

Hi there!

I adopted my boy Gixxer (formerly known as Pepper) from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay in February of 2004. We’re having our 9 year anniversary this month! I went in one day just to look around, and he just looked at me and I knew it! He came home with me that afternoon. Since then he’s gone everywhere with me – we’ve lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Gainesville, FL, Washington, DC and most currently Lexington, KY.

He’s my everything and I can’t imagine life without him! He’s a sprightly near-10 year old catahula mix and loves everyone he meets! Most days he can be found on his/my bed and loves the dog park!
