Tampa Bay Shows Deep Passion for Pets

On May 15, 2014, citizens from across Tampa Bay showed their strong dedication to helping homeless pets by raising more than $190,000 for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay at their annual Passion for Pets fundraising luncheon. The event, themed “The Time Is Now To Save More Lives”, was held at the Tampa Hilton Downtown where more than 400 guests enjoyed an hour-long luncheon and program.

Several adopted pets took center stage as their owners told their stories. An inspirational video highlighting our core programs was shown and guests got to mingle with 11 of our adoptable pets; five of them found forever homes!

Special thanks to our presenters and speakers; Christa Bauer and Carolina, the Reverend William Baugh, Kelly Evans and Lilly and Lulu, Michele Gregory and Dunken, Sherry Silk, and Cathy Unruh.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is also grateful to our sponsors for their generous support of this event:
