Full-time Spay /Neuter Veterinarian for our non-profit Shelter:
Responsible for the day to day operations of our spay and neuter clinic as well as all phases and aspects of patient care, including pre and post-surgical functions. Must be able to perform 20-35 surgeries per day and be familiar with current spay and neuter technique. Also must have experience performing sterilization surgeries on juveniles, crypt-orchids and pregnant animals.
FT with at least 1 year experience.
The SV is responsible for all aspects of the operation of a surgical suite, such as, but not limited to, scheduling, scheduling, anesthesia, surgical techniques and procedures, directing ancillary staff, educating staff, pre-operative evaluation, post-operative care, and animal selection, in providing surgical services for the HSTB
Education: Must possess a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Experience: Must possess a valid State of Florida license to practice veterinary medicine, and 1 year experience in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter.
Relocation: Up to 1500.00
Skills: Must be personable, able to communicate with and direct staff, and work as a member of a team. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Kennel Attendant Posting
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay has a full-time Kennel Attendant position available immediately. Kennel Attendants work hands on with the animals each day to keep them clean and comfortable while they wait for their new family to adopt them. Duties include working outside, cleaning kennels and cages, feeding the animals, laundry, washing dishes, mopping floors, restocking supplies and transferring animals from Intake to our shelter for adoption.
Candidate must be a self-starter, work well with others, have a positive attitude and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. The ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required along with a genuine concern for the welfare of animals. Previous experience in a kennel or animal clinic environment is preferred. Weekends required, great benefit package included.
