Daisy– HSTB offers Daisy troops an animal-themed program to help earn the Humane Society Badge. We will be following the “5 Flowers, 4 Stories, and 3 Cheers for Animals” guidebook to learn about caring for pets and helping them to become responsible pet owners as they grow up. Through different stories, games, and crafts they will learn about how people and animals have helped each other, and how they can help their own pets. Includes craft and patch. $15 + the cost of the patch ($6.00) for a 4 month program. Meets every Monday 2:00 – 2:45. January 11, February 8, March 22, April 19.
Brownie Pet Badge Program– Discuss the different needs of pets from keeping them healthy, comfy, safe and loved. Through a variety of games, crafts, and activities the scouts will learn to care for shelter animals and their own pets as well. At the end of the program each Brownie will receive the Brownie Pets Badge. Time: 9:30 – 11:30: Cost: $15 per scout; includes snack and craft. (October 17, December 5, February 6th, April 17, May 15)
Junior Girl Scouts– Troops will learn about the shelter and the animals we help through diverse, activities and crafts. At the completion of this program, scouts will receive the animal shelter badge. Troops may add the Veterinarian Tour or Animal Hospital Tour badge to this program as well. $15 for 2 hours; includes snack and craft. Fun patch available throughout the year. Email for date request
Cadet Animal Helper Badge –Through different activities troops will learn the various ways in which animals can help humans and how humans continue to find ways that animals can help humans. At the completion of this program, scout will receive the Animal Helpers Badge. $25 for 3 hours includes snack and supplies. Email for date request.
