This year for Give Day Tampa Bay we are challenging our generous supporters to help us save 100 lives by raising $25,000. It is expensive to house, feed, sterilize, medicate, and care for homeless animals, but if everyone gives just a little, the goal will be reached in no time. Some examples of how donations help:
- $5 helps us save animals in need
- $15 provides a microchip for 1 homeless animal
- $25 provides shelter to 1 homeless animal for a day
- $50 provides vaccinations for 1 homeless animal
- $100 covers the cost of spay/neuter for 1 homeless animal
- $250 covers the cost of life-saving heartworm treatment for 1 dog
The 24-hour, online giving event takes place on Tuesday, May 2, but supporters can give at any time from April 18 to May 2 and there are several ways to participate:
- Give to our animals at HumaneSocietyTampa.org/giveday now through May 2
- Set up a fundraising page at HumaneSocietyTampa.org/giveday so that friends, family, and colleagues can help you save lives by donating to our animals
- $25 provides shelter to 1 homeless animal for a daySpread the word and link to our page (HumaneSocietyTampa.org/giveday) on social media using #GiveDayTB2017 and #WeAreHSTB
