We believe that pets are family and that family should stick together through thick and thin.

Sadly, many loving pet parents are forced to give up their animals when they become unable to afford to feed them or to provide them with basic medical care. But that’s an economic problem, not a reflection on how deeply they love their pets.

That’s why, thanks to funding from a generous donor (anonymous), the Humane Society of Tampa Bay is launching a new initiative aimed at providing low-income families with the resources they need to keep their pets:

PETS for LIFE … because families matter

The Pets For Life Program will offer free spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations to pets living in zip codes 33602, 33603, and 33605 and will also provide pet food, supplies and veterinary care to these pets on a case-by-case basis.

Residents of zip codes 33602, 33603, and 33605 can contact our Community Outreach Manager at 813.442.2279 for more information or to schedule a service for their pets.
