Adopting a new pet gives families so much joy and love while providing that dog, cat, rabbit, or pocket pet with a forever home. When you choose to adopt a pet, you give them what they deserve: a safe and loving place to call home. Every pet has their own unique personality traits and just needs that special person (or family) to take care of them. Choose to adopt a pet today!

If you have recently adopted and your pet is not feeling well or has a medical concern, please get in touch with our Animal Health Center Manager, Gretel Harvey, at 813-252-2026. HSTB absolutely WILL NOT reimburse for any medical expenses at any other Veterinary Facility if you choose to seek medical attention elsewhere.  

NEW ADOPTION DISCOUNT: All senior citizens 65+ will receive 50% off any adoption fee on adult cats and dogs. Must show proof. Inquire at the time of adoption.

Working cats are feral or semi-feral cats adopted at no-charge to families with barns, outbuildings, sheds, garages, etc. who would like a cat to help with pest control and/or keep farm animals company.

In exchange, the adopters provide their new feline friend with daily food, water and a cozy place to sleep.
