Here at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB), we recognize and honor the Girl Scouts and are now offering Girl Scout Programs.

No matter where your scout is in their journey, you can now make the HSTB a part of their growth!

Our Daisy Program follows the “5 Flowers, 4 Stories and 3 Cheers for Animals” Journey Book to learn about caring for pets. Through stories, games and crafts, Daisies learn about how people and animals help each other, and how to become responsible pet owners as they grow up. We meet once a month for 4 months (see dates).

Dates: January 11, February 8, March 22, April 19
(all sessions required)

Time: 2:00 PM—2:45 PM

Cost: $21 per scout
(includes program & cost of patch)

In our Brownie Pet Badge Program, we discuss the needs of pets and how to keep them healthy, comfy, safe and loved.

Through games, crafts and activities, the Brownies will learn to care for shelter animals and their own pets as well. At the end of the program, each Brownie will receive the Brownie Pets Badge.

Dates: October 17, December 5, February 6, April 17, May 15
(only one session required)

Time: 9:30 AM—11: 30 AM

Cost: $15 per scout
(includes snacks and crafts)

In our Junior Program, troops learn about the shelter and the animals we help through diverse activities and crafts.

Scouts can choose from the animal shelter tour or the veterinarian tour.

(includes 2-hour program, snack, crafts and patch)

In our Cadette Animal Helpers Badge Program, we offer a unique opportunity to achieve the badge at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Through different activities, Cadettes will learn the various ways in which animals can help humans and how humans continue to find ways that animals can help us.

Upon completion of this program, Cadettes will receive the Animal Helpers Badge.
