Family Volunteer Days

Looking for fun ways to spend time together as a family? We’ve got the perfect solution for you!

Here at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB), we offer a wonderful way to spend time with your family while giving back, extending some love to homeless animals, and creating smiles that last a lifetime.

Family Volunteer Days are a once-monthly opportunity for parents and children age 5 and older to visit the HSTB and be a part of many different activities. Family Volunteer Days are offered on specific Fridays and Saturdays, and registration is required. Registered families will get to socialize with the animals, make crafts for the shelter/animals, make a memento to take home, and have some FUN!

Family Volunteer Days are a great way to do something together as a family, teach your children empathy & compassion, and most of all, leave your family members with a smile on their faces knowing that you made a difference in an animal’s life.

Cost: A small donation includes everything mentioned above and lasting memories for everyone! Prices vary by program, see registration page for each program.

When: Programs are offered on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Choose your preferred date when you register.
