The Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been an essential part of the community since 1912. With community growth, there has also been an increased demand for affordable and quality veterinary care. HSTB’s Animal Hospital, which opened to the public in 2012, has been a cornerstone in Tampa Bay. It helps keep pets in their homes by providing affordable veterinary care for families who struggle with the high cost of pet ownership and veterinary services.
With over 43,000 pet patients seen annually, the current 10,000-square-foot animal hospital cannot meet the needs of all the families who depend on HSTB for affordable, high-quality veterinary services. Expanding HSTB’s existing one-story hospital to include a second story with 10,0000 square feet of space is crucial to addressing the growing demand.
Expanding the hospital’s infrastructure will allow for the implementation of advanced medical care and practices that would otherwise be out of reach to some of Tampa Bay’s citizens. As an AAHA-certified hospital, we ensure that pets receive the highest standards of treatment and care.
