Adopt a Doggie

Dogs come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and ready for a lifetime of love!

Adoptions are same-day and done on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not hold pets or do adoptions via phone, social media, or email.

Due to overcrowding, some dogs may be kept on the shelter’s lower level. If you do not see the dog you are interested in meeting please tell the front desk, and they will get the dog for a meet and greet! Thank you for your patience during this time.

Steps to Adopting a Dog

  1. Find the dog(s) that are right for you.
Dogs listed are available to adopt. The website is updated daily.

  2. Visit our shelter and meet with the dog(s) that interest you.
Once you find a dog that you are interested in bring their kennel card (paper with dog’s name located on kennel) to the front desk in our adoption lobby to schedule a visit.
  3. Meet with an adoption coordinator.
You will meet with one of our staff members to sign paperwork, go over information and any questions.
  4. Take your new family member home and start your life together.
All dogs must leave the shelter on a leash and collar/harness. If you need dog supplies we have a retail store located within our shelter for your convenience

Working cats are feral or semi-feral cats adopted at no-charge to families with barns, outbuildings, sheds, garages, etc. who would like a cat to help with pest control and/or keep farm animals company.

In exchange, the adopters provide their new feline friend with daily food, water and a cozy place to sleep.
